Hi to everyone out there, especially all the Rachel Fuller fans who pop by and add a comment!

Since my last post (how long ago was that?!), I have been promoted at work (yay!), so I should be in line for a good pay rise this year. That and a good Christmas bonus will make it a great December for me...apart from my large overdraft which I'm running down!!
Enjoying life at the moment and playing a bit more music than usual. Took apart my Steinberger 'cricket bat' bass, cleaned out the cavities, tested the pickup readouts, balanced the magnetic phases, replaced the silver cavity paint, resoldered components and restrung the beast. All well and good, except the bridge/tuning unit isn't quite the same!! Action is tooooo low on the A and E strings, but will do for touch-tapping styles. Great if you don't have an 8-string Chapman Stick to tap along with!!

Passed my driving test 1st time as well, and spending loads of money on petrol and parking costs. Works out about 20% of my annual wages including the insurance. Thank God I'm over 21, otherwise the insurance alone would have been £1300!!

Ouch!
